Cloud, rain and drizzle across much of central and southern England, Wales and Ireland. Drier in western Scotland. Remaining bitterly cold in northern Scotland, a little milder to the south. Highs at 7C in southern England, 0C in northern Scotland.

Sunday Night
Low pressure will continue to dominate into Sunday night across much of the British Isles bringing further rain and showers at times across central and southern areas, despite some clearer intervals. An awkward mix of rain, sleet and snow is then likely across more northern areas of the British Isles, but with perhaps some further snow accumulations across parts of N England and particularly Scotland. Lows -2C to 2C.

Monday
Pressure is low to the south on Monday. Staying cold across much of northern England and Scotland with snow affecting central and northern Scotland. Further rain or showers in southern England, but probably drier elsewhere with some broken cloud. Highs at 1C to 3C in northern areas, 9C in the far south. Overnight frosts.
 

Tuesday
Low pressure over southern parts of the country brings sunshine and showers. The showers heavy and slow moving at times. Longer spells of rain possible across parts of Scotland and perhaps eastern areas of England, precipitation wintry on higher ground here. Overnight frosts. Highs at 3C to 8C.
