Tuesday
A cloudy morning for many with some outbreaks of drizzle or light rain in East Anglia early on. Drier weather to the west with the cloud breaking and some sunny spells developing. This afternoon sees dry weather for many with further sunny spells although there is a low risk of a scattered shower forming in the midlands and southern England. Increasing cloud through Ireland bringing some rain here, this edging east with drizzle arriving in west Wales and Cornwall by this evening. Highs at 8C in northern Scotland, 13C in the brighter areas of England and eastern Wales.


Tuesday Night
Cloud and drizzle affecting western coasts and hills of the UK. More persistent rain in Ireland, some of it heavy. Drier in the east with some clear skies at first and perhaps a touch of frost. Winds will be increasing through the night. Lows near 3 to 8C with the coolest weather in the east.
 


Friday
Low pressure will be centred to the southwest of Ireland on Friday. Fronts pushing cloud and rain into Ireland and southwest England in the morning. The rain then edging northeast to be through the rest of Ireland, Wales, southern and central England by evening. Becoming windier here too. Rain in northwest Scotland with snow on the hills. Elsewhere the day should be dry with sunny spells, although cloud increasing in the south. Highs around 4C in northwest Scotland, 8 to 11C elsewhere.


Saturday
The area of low pressure remains to the south of Ireland on Saturday. A rain band passes north through Ireland, northern England and into Scotland, some of this heavy at times. Snow over Highlands and Grampians. Following to more southern areas will be sunny spells and heavy showers. Those showers becoming heavy and thundery and perhaps merging to longer spells of rain at times. Highs at 14 ot 15C in parts of England and Wales, 5C in northern Scotland.
