Wet and breezy for much of England, Wales and Ireland as well as southern Scotland

Good morning,

A windy day across much of Ireland, northern England, southern Scotland and northern England. Cloud thickening bringing rain into these areas during this morning. The rain is mostly light but some moderate bursts will okay on western facing coasts and hills. Drier in more eastern and northern parts of Scotland this morning with little change this afternoon. Some brightness at first in southern and eastern England, although plenty of cloud elsewhere.

The afternoon sees periods of rain in northern and western England, Wales and Ireland. Patchier outbreaks of rain further east and south but dry for many. Staying breezy in these areas too. A cooler day for many than recently.

Cloudy and breezy as well as mostly mild tonight. There will be periods of rain and drizzle, mostly on hills.
