Damp Drier
Turning Drier and Brighter

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 23rd March 2018
Duty forecaster: Matthew Hugo

A damp start to the weekend but generally becoming drier and brighter through the day

Good morning,

It's a rather cloudy and damp start to Saturday, especially across more central and southern areas of England and Wales. There is, however, quite a lot of dry weather across more northern and western areas with some sunny spells in places too. Through the rest of the morning and the cloudy and damp weather will slowly ease and many areas then becoming drier and brighter, especially away from S England.

Into Saturday evening and not a great deal of change is forecast. Quite a benign period of weather for most, few showers in the north-west, some patchy rain or drizzle perhaps still lingering in the far south and south-east, otherwise a dry evening and night ahead with clear spells, some rural mist and fog patches too.

Matthew
